Where is the VIN number located on a TR2, 3, 3A, 3B, 4, 4A ?

When ordering parts, it is essential that you identify your car exactly, by commission number and competent serial number. 

Since many part changes were made during model years, the commission number, engine number, and body number provide the only positive identification. Quite often a car's title will not show the correct model year.

(ends with an “e”), body number (b), or gearbox number (g).
