Replacing Original Jaguar Lower Ball Joint with Modern One Piece CAC9937
The original multi piece ball joint had a seat that is pressed into the socket of the vertical link. This needs to be removed to install the modern one-piece ball joint. The best way to do this is to take the ball from the old joint and drop it into the socket from the top. Tap the ball with a hammer and the ring and ball should drop out the bottom of the link.
The one piece ball joint does require shorter mounting bolts CBC1805.
